we've got a busy couple of weeks coming up.

This weekend on Sunday the 12th of May (Mothers Day), the illustration and comic art festival Chromacon will be kicking off! We'll be there with a booth and some creative action. Be sure to drop in and say hi! Infor mation on Chromacon and their art competitions can be found here: [link]

Also next weekend on the 18th of May, Animation College NZ hosts the first of three Student for a Day events. 8 hours that could change you life! 4 hours of traditional hand drawn animation and 4 hours of 3D animation! Tickets can be booked here: [link]

Also the weekend following that on the 25th of May Animation College NZ is hosting a special workshop with Oktobor Animation Lead Rigger Eddie Hoyle. He'll be sharing his insight and expertise on technical streamlining of rigging, fundamental applications of Maya Python, 3D prop creation and prop usage.

Eddie has worked on; Nickelodeon's Penguins of Madagascar, Robot & Monster, Monsters VS Aliens & Kung Fu Panda animated TV series.

Places are limited to 15 students, ACNZ current students and alumni take preference over external students. But be sure to register your place to avoid missing out.  Tickets can be purchased here: [link]
